My passion is to help people live their life more fully. I start with a person's strengths and help a person develop tools to manage their emotions, traumas and/or mental illness. I offer telehealth, virtual therapy sessions. My work integrates many different therapeutic styles and techniques depending on what fits best with the client and their situation. Some of these include Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Family Therapy, EMDR and EFT Tapping. I run DBT groups to teach people skills with mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness skills and distress tolerance skills.
I am skilled at helping people with trauma and relationship skills. I support people in their growth and find outlets to encourage growth. My own struggles have made me a much better therapist. Some of these are addiction problems, problems with children and marriages and my own personal trauma. The virtual sessions are secure and eliminate travel time.
