How can I help you? Whatever the obstacles are that stand in the way of your happiness, success, or satisfaction, I would like to help you overcome them. I am compassionate, understanding, smart and insightful. I have over twenty years of experience, education and specialized training. In my opinion, change comes from gaining insight into and understanding about oneself. My treatment orientation is psychodynamic but I incorporate other treatment modalities as well, such as cognitive and behavioral therapies. I see individuals, couples, adolescents and children. I look forward to the opportunity to help you.
Among my specialties is child therapy. I have trained extensively at the Play Therapy Training Institute in New Jersey, in addition to other training centers. I have worked with children for ten years. I use a combination of child-centered and directive play therapy. Play is the language of children.
I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and aware of and sensitive to issues particular to the Hispanic community. I have a therapy dog, Paige, that I use in my office in Easton. With children I practice canine-assisted play therapy and with adults Paige is often a calming influence in session.
