I am a licensed clinical psychologist, who works with children, adolescents and adults. I also work at the Children's Hospital, Colorado, and work with children and families, who are struggling with a variety of issues. I work with both adults and children. My goal is to help children, adolescents and adults come up with ways to cope and manage life stressors, and focus on sustained solutions to their problems. I provide clients with state-of-the-art, empirically-supported behavioral health interventions shown to result in fast and sustainable relief from a variety of emotions.
I have expertise in working with individuals who struggle with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, involving depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, behavioral issues, and co-morbid medical issues. I work with issues involving parenting, co-parenting, relationship, family, peer relational problems, and academic issues. I also work with LGBTQ individuals.
I offer short term, cognitive behavioral therapy, with an emphasis on providing sustained changes. I received my doctoral degree and training from Pepperdine University. In addition to working with clients directly, I also supervise interns in training, and teach graduate school courses at local universities. I am a psychologist, consultant, clinical supervisor, and educator.
