I specialize in assessing and treating ADD/ADHD, behavior and mood disorders in adults and children of any age, adoption, infertility and life transitions (teen to adulthood, divorce, moves, caring for aging parents, etc). I help parents grieve the loss of their idealized child and love/adapt to the child they have.
I have over 35 years experience in counseling children, adults and families in private practice, social service agencies,residential treatment, CPS, and developmental disabilities. I also have a child with ADHD, bi-polar and high-functioning autism and can help parents deal with schools, medical professionals and their understanding of psychotropic medication.
