I have often been told that I am a warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental guide that will walk with you through dark times and will cheer you along as you reach new levels of freedom and hope. I do not view myself as an expert that can solve your problems, but rather as one who can sit with you while you wrestle with your deepest fears, hurts and pain and find the answers for yourself.
I have specialized in grief and trauma work for many years, with great success. I also especially enjoy helping couples who are in distress find new levels of connection and intimacy. I work from an Attachment Theory perspective as I firmly believe that this offers the best outcomes in bringing lasting change.
I have successfully helped clients experiencing divorce, death of a child, older-child adoption, self-harm, anxiety/panic, attempted suicide, addictions, sexual abuse and other struggles.
