About
Inexplicable anger, unshakable depression, unrelenting anxiety... This is the fallout of unmet needs like care, attention, respect, and presence happening now and probably had happened for significant lengths of time in our childhoods. As I work with people on these chronic and traumatic experiences, they have shown me how these past traumas can be resolved; that you too can get rid of distorted negative beliefs about yourself; that everyone can improve the quality and selection of their relationships; and when we connect to our bodies and minds with wisdom and tenderness, we become sovereign and healed.
The therapy is experiential, somatic, attachment-focused and trauma-informed. My client experience has been multi-cultural, mainly teens and adults, who have emotional trauma and relationship distress. I am masters-level trained in NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) to treat C-PTSD/complex trauma. EMDR an option. Out-of-network plans accepted.
Start somewhere, step forward, and make a self-investment. This is a creative space where we can think out-of-the-box and make the healing impactful and eye-opening. The process is collaborative and co-creating. I invite you to my website: dianenguyentherapy.com for helpful info and encourage you to go there before scheduling a consultation
