Hello, my name is Diane Maytas, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S), an EMDR Certified Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT). I am also certified in HeartMath, supporting mind–body connection and emotional regulation.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, along with post-master’s training in School Counseling, from Youngstown State University.
My therapeutic approach is holistic, eclectic, and spiritually informed. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and life transitions. I help clients build self-awareness by connecting the brain, emotions, and body while strengthening resilience, self-worth, and inner resources.
Together, we focus on releasing the past, building grounding skills, and gaining insight into patterns that no longer support growth. My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where healing feels safe and meaningful.
