I have been active in the mental health field for 20+ years. I believe therapy is a process that helps with balance in all areas of life. I have a vast amount of experience in many different settings which has allowed me to evolve and grow as a professional. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults. My areas of specialty include but are not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Grief and Loss/Bereavement, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, financial stress, changes/transitions in life, and chronic pain/medical issues. I use a combination of DBT, CBT, mindfulness, Behavioral Activation, Brief Solution Focus, EMDR/trauma informed care, Essential Oils/Aromatherapy, and Nutrition and Wellness(Holistic approach). I strive to tailor each client's treatment experience uniquely to them. I offer a safe, comfortable, supportive, and relaxing space to address problematic symptoms.
I am a strength based counselor and work to bring talents, interests and hobbies into the therapy process. Each area can be added to different areas of treatment as requested. I am based out of Ellie Mental Health (Greenwood), and can work to find the best session format based on your needs.
