I like to think of myself as a seasoned clinician who has adapted and adjusted to the changing times. I am currently providing telehealth services only. I have evolved my craft toward a mindfully oriented practice which I combine with cognitive, behavioral and DBT techniques. My work supports adults (26+) going through their journey of radical acceptance focusing on those life changing events which can often cause emotional dysregulation.
I believe I can be your guide, coach and mentor through this process of healing. "You can't change what you do not acknowledge." I believe dysfunctional thoughts, feelings, actions and urges can be rewired by practicing positive reinforcement, fostering new learning and healthy skills.
I take my education/training serious as well as my inclusive personal and profession practice. I read at least one book a month; I used to contribute my written comments to the Times Herald Record in a column called "Therapist by Day".
