Via video and phone sessions, my clients seek my assistance because they feel trapped and stuck in life with painful loss, difficult change, relationship turbulence, self-doubt, and negative patterns that dominate, overwhelm, and hinder them. Whether first-timers or having been in counseling before, my clients enter into a collaborative journey with me. Seeking my help are women across the life span, single adults, and couples of various cultures confronting various forms of anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, finding life, love, career and calling in times of transition, seeking identity, esteem, and authentic faith, and building more satisfying relationships in love, friendship, and community.
I use a variety of treatment approaches, tailoring it specifically to help my clients including those researched with highly successful outcomes including Allender trauma narrative therapy, emotion focused couples therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, CBT and DBT tools, wellness,family systems, psychodynamic, and faith practices.
