I specialize in working with those who have been impacted by intimate partner/gender-based violence, family trauma, difficult life-transitions, intergenerational trauma, and relational difficulties. I have extensive experience and am interested in working with those who hold marginalized identities of age, race, gender, sexuality, ability, and religion. I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they work to dismantle the role and impact of harmful power structures in their lives so that they may thrive and experience joy, ease, and euphoria in their identity.
My approach is relational: we work collaboratively to explore, grow spaciousness, & create balance; trauma-informed: past experiences are embedded in our bodies' responses (i.e. exhaustion, restlessness, difficulty breathing, etc.) & we go at the pace the body sets; client-centered: the client's pace and where we go remains at the center and guides our work.
I look forward to meeting with you. Finding a therapist & engaging in therapy is laborious. Thank you for visiting! If you are interested in meeting & have questions, you are welcome to request a free 15-min call with me via email or using the website linked in my Psychology Today profile.
