I have worked primarily within the Asian community with those who have been impacted by intimate partner/gender-based violence. Doing so taught me the importance of supporting self-determination, grounded/safe relationships, & honoring body cues. I am passionate about walking alongside clients while they work to dismantle the impact of harmful power structures in their lives. My hope is that through identity exploration, difficult life transitions, traumatic experiences, & all that life has in store that I may work collaboratively with clients to access their truest voice & experience wholeness personally and interpersonally.
My approach is relational: we work collaboratively to explore, uncover, & create balance; trauma-informed: past experiences are embedded in our bodies' responses (i.e. exhaustion, restlessness, difficulty breathing) & we go at the pace the body sets; client-centered: the client is the guide & I am the witness.
