Welcome! I'm so glad you're investing in your growth. I want you to know one thing: you have value. As a counselor, I am dedicated to showing people they are worthy of care and attention. I enjoy working with complex trauma, first responders, nurses, DID, and helping you learn to live with a difficult diagnosis. Grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and conflict are part of the journey. If you need some guidance to recover from a former abortion, I've been there and would love to help you. I especially like to work with individuals and older teens. I use an emotionally focused psychodynamic approach. Premarital couples are welcome.
I use SYMBIS for premarital couples. I am EMDR trained through the EMDR Center of the Rockies. My experience as a nurse is integrated into my work. The Townsend Institute was terrific in its training. I tend to be attachment—and emotion-focused. I have certificates from the Trauma Research Foundation and the Makin Institute for Neuro Change.
