Sexual issues can - and do - happen to anyone at any age and my clients range in age from their 20s to their 80s. Folks seek out sex therapy for a variety of reasons: maybe there is an aspect of your sexuality that is confusing to you, or you struggle to experience the pleasure of sexuality and eroticism, or you or your partner have a sexual dysfunction like erectile dysfunction or pain with intercourse. Perhaps you are in a low sex/no sex relationship or maybe you are reeling from learning of your partner's betrayal. In our shame-based culture, these are difficult issues to talk about. I am here to help.
I am a Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist Supervisor. I view client issues through a sex positive lens and do not pathologize human sexuality. I work with straight and LGBTQ+ adult individuals and couples with a wide array of sexual problems like sexual dysfunctions, low libido, infrequent sexual activity, and betrayals of various kinds.
I take your concerns seriously and my clients tell me that it is easy for them to talk to me about these very private parts of their lives. Together we will work at the intersection of mental health and sexual health. After all, everyone has the right to a healthy and happy sex life.
