I have been working with young students and their families for over 30 years. Throughout this time I have gained a great deal of insight into the significance the family plays in the development of each child. Today's families are often experiencing a great deal of stress. In many cases parents are caught between raising their children while caring for their parents. Communication is the essential glue that holds our families together. In my office I offer a warm and caring environment to foster family growth and healthy family dynamics.
My office is child friendly, even the youngest client feels welcomed. Through the use of play, I will be able to help your family deal with behavioral issues, trauma and family development. I offer an opportunity to explore issues that challenge your child in their educational setting, including ADHD, coping with bullies and social skills.
Today's families are formed by many nontraditional avenues. My practice specializes in helping these families be strong and successful! I have experience with LGBT families as well as families created through a second marriage. I also have experience with adoption and the wonderful impact this decision has on families.
