I am a caring therapist with 35 years of experience. My first priority is to lower your distress and restore hope in the future. Together, we uncover the triggers and negative patterns that interfere with your life. We then build a personalized tool kit of healthier coping strategies to create the life you desire. I am an active participant in the therapy process and believe wholeheartedly in the my clients’ ability to heal.
My specialty is Trauma therapy, which may involve EMDR therapy, internal family systems (IFS), somatic work and mind/body integration. I work closely with my clients to develop mindfulness about brain and body.
I believe that deep down in every person is a "best self" that wants to emerge. My job is to create a safe place to reactivate this authentic self in a pace and manner that is comfortable for the client.
