One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Part of our story is suffering. Emotional suffering may include anxiety, depression, grief, conflicts in relationships and trauma. For most of us, suffering is more than just one thing. As humans, we innately try to avoid suffering instead of confronting it. I want to guide you to understand, confront, and alleviate your suffering. The goal is to increase understanding of the self which leads to feelings of empowerment, courage, self-determination, hope, meaningfulness and freedom.
I have 14+ yrs treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, substance use, relationship conflicts, & infertility, pregnancy loss, and stillbirth. I'm also a therapist for therapists and love supervising new clinicians working towards state licensure. I am EMDR certified and have advanced training and consultation via The Touchstone Institute.
Most importantly, I know what it's like to be the client. I believe highly effective therapists do or have done their own therapy. Clinical Supervision
I'm looking to start a clinical supervision group for those pursuing LCSW/LPC licensure in PA to start in January 2022. I have over 50 hours of training and 7 years experience providing supervision to students pursing Master degrees or those pursing PA LCSW/LPC licensure. The group would meet the first Wed of the month from 6-8pm.
