My clients are typically individuals looking to change their beliefs about themselves and others. Often, they are looking to build a greater sense of safety, trust and esteem in order to feel a greater sense of power, control and connection in their lives. I specialize in treating PTSD and associated anxiety and depression, along with working with gifted children, pre-teens, teens and emerging adults. I work particularly well with individuals seeking a semi-structured form of treatment, who are looking to invest in their health and wellbeing.
A graduate of Columbia University, I am deliberate about asking questions that will challenge your perspective. I am partial to evidence-based interventions and utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) with most clients. I am also an Accredited Level 3 Primary Care Triple P Positive Parenting Provider.
I thrive when getting to the root of an issue and assisting clients to see themselves and others differently. A Brooklyn native, I have always been interested in individual stories and the power that they hold; the stories that we tell ourselves about ourselves that shape who we become.
