About
I strive to create an affirming space where you can engage with vulnerability and self-reflection. No one knows your experience better than you. That is why I emphasize collaboration and self-determination in our therapeutic relationship and encourage you to explore your own values, strengths and wants in therapy. My practice is grounded in anti-oppressive frameworks that aim to recognize and address the impact that systemic violence and social injustices can have on your wellbeing. I value an honest therapeutic relationship and to be part of the system that supports your wellness and joy.
I work with teens and adults providing individual psychotherapy. My clinical interests include concerns related to LGBTQIA2S+ and/or BIPOC identity, trauma, depression, anxiety, immigration and familial relationships. My approach to therapy is based on trauma-informed practices, centering empathy, mindfulness and radical acceptance.
