I am a person-centered, ecological- and relational-oriented therapist who works with
children and adults across the life-span. I understand therapy as a process of accompanying individuals as they face challenges and seek wholeness. I have experience working with children and adults and particular areas of focus in adjusting to major life changes, anxiety, depression, relationship changes, trauma, loss and grief, exploring spirituality, facing life-limiting illnesses and death, perinatal loss, post-partum adjustment, and court/justice-involvement.
In session, you can expect me to create a calm space in which to share and reflect, to provide tools for achieving your goals, and to impart skills to support healing. I use techniques from mindfulness, somatic-oriented therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapy in my practice. I also incorporate play, artistic expression, and narrative work, if desired.
