As a therapist, former school teacher, and mom, I am deeply invested in the emotional well-being of my clients. My greatest goal in counseling is to equip individuals of all ages with the tools to cope with life’s challenges and the confidence to navigate them effectively. Struggles with anxiety, depression, negative self-esteem, academic and workplace pressures, anger, and relationship dynamics can be overwhelming at any stage of life. I am passionate about helping people manage these concerns now while setting them up for long-term success.
I specialize in using Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge and change negative thinking patterns and to adopt healthier, more realistic ones. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help with psychological flexibility. I am EMDR Trained, which helps with trauma and deeply held negative beliefs.
