Hi I’m Diana Martinez! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW.) For me, therapy is about getting you back to your previous level of functioning prior to developing mental health illness and assisting you in moving to a better, peaceful you. I have spent the past 20 years working as a therapist to do just that. When I’m not practicing therapy, I’m spending time with my husband, adult children, grandbabies, and hanging out with my large extended family. I enjoy brisk walking, watching movies, organizing, and gardening.
My approach is to start where my client is. Initially, I utilize Rogerian therapy to begin establishing trust and rapport with my client. It is important for me to get to know my client and for my client to get to know me so we can develop a professional trusting relationship.
I’m open to working with anyone who is looking to improve their mental health, functioning, and relationships. My clinical experience is with children, adolescents, transitional-aged youth, and adults.
