I believe we have the capacity to create positive change in our lives when we are ready. I am an lgbtqia+ affirming therapist and community member. I specialize working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a specific focus on survivors of trauma. I approach individual therapy through an eclectic model which allows me to customize treatment based on your individual needs.
I enjoy implementing various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, Gestalt, and the Gottman Method for Couples. I only work with couples who are certain they want to be together long term. Couples therapy would include learning new ways to navigate building connection with one another and practicing effective communication skills.
As a clinician, I provide support, encouragement, and education in order to help you build skills. The skills we practice together, you can utilize during and outside of sessions.
