I am passionate about helping individuals work through issues like life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I take a client-centered approach while also having the ability to use a variety of other evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help you create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and concerns.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand your thoughts and feelings more effectively, to help you better understand and verbalize the emotions and feelings behind your behavior. I prioritize making sure that my clients are empowered and understand that they are the experts in their lives.
I believe in having open, clear communication with my clients. I practice active listening and will give you a space to reflect on your experiences in a nonjudgmental, safe place to express yourself in the way you need to express your feelings.
