I am a deeply trained eating disorder specialist with 30 years of clinical experience. I am warm , compassionate, straightforward and bring a commitment to providing the best care I can. As a result of my value in lifelong learning I stay current in the latest research, best practices and evidence-based treatments. My practice is body positive and trauma informed. I hold certifications in Family-Based Treatment, EMDR, and Intuitive Eating and have advanced training in CBT-E, DBT, ACT and Health at Every Size. I am a member of CAMFT, and The Academy for Eating Disorders.
I bring my love of food and all its meanings to my work. I am an avid gardener and professionally trained chef. It is entirely possible to fully recover with true satisfaction in eating. Our bodies are a miracle, I feel honored to help people learn to value, respect and come to peace with their bodies.
My large office is in comfortable home-like setting. with gardens and farm animals. Aromas is within commute distance from Santa Cruz, Hollister, Gilroy, Watsonville, La Selva, Prunedale, Salinas, San Juan Batista, Marina, Moss Landing and Seaside. My unique training and these lovely settings allow optional hands-on healing experiences with food.

Groups
Nourish and Heal! For Folks Troubled by Overeating
Enrolling now for (2) 10 week groups and an all day workshop. 20 hours total experiential therapy with 6 participants in each group. Clients will learn strategies from ACT, DBT, CBT, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size & The Body Positive. Each group includes experiential and immersive learning such as visualizations, mindfulness, mindful eating, body image re-imagining and joyful movement.
