Research shows that long-term therapies with an increased frequency of treatment (3-5 times a week) lead to results that are sustainable lifelong as compared to short-term therapies with a lower frequency (1x week, or less) where results are short-lived and which create a vicious cycle of relapse and return to treatment every few months or years.
