Let's invent together a way beyond your suffering or problematic repetitions. I use creative language play to release unconscious tensions manifesting as symptoms. In psychoanalysis you can elevate your agency by recognizing your own unfolding processes without the pressure to change. My attention will be focused on the linguistic and homophonous patterns of your unconscious as manifested in your speech, with the aim of distilling the suffering from your words and possibly producing a creative practice in its stead. To that end I will invite you to speak. I don't take insurance, but you may be able to use your OON benefits!
Freud’s discovery that talking itself cures, guided me towards a training in psychology. Eventually, into specializing in the enigmatic theory of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan. My psychoanalytic practice aims at helping people construct through language a shift in their relationship to their enigmatic patterns.
I practice in a manner that is multiculturally/LGBTQA affirming and have experience conducting individual and couple's therapy in Spanish. Initial meetings are a good place to discuss your thoughts about the commitment of beginning an analysis. Once or twice a week to start explorations, three to four times a week for more profound work.
