We all come with baggage. It makes us who we are and yet it can be so heavy. My idea of therapy's purpose is to help clients lighten their load. Everybody wants to make healthier choices, to find joy in life. How that is done is individual and to be discovered. I have interest in and respect for the differences in people's experience. I also have faith in each person's ability to find a path to wholeness. If you have experienced trauma, suffer from anxiety, depression, or other disturbances we can find the way to access your own inner healing power.
I bring training in hypnotherapy, EMDR, neurobiology, mindfulness, parts work, attachment, parenting and relationship dynamics. I ask you to bring curiosity, courage and willingness to seek change from old patterns. I will provide a safe environment in which you can explore your inner world. I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples.
I'm a certified Domestic Violence counselor and facilitate anger management groups. I have worked with parents, adoptive or natural, of children who have suffered trauma resulting in attachment difficulties. I have have raised five children as well. I can provide Mother Infant Bonding Therapy which helps relieve childhood asthma and behavioral problems.
