I have over 25 years of experience treating individuals, couples, families and groups. I work with a wide spectrum of psychological issues including but not limited to relationship difficulties, mood and anxiety disorders, addiction and grief. I have advanced training in couples counseling, eating disorders and mindfulness practices . My work is informed by family systems, cognitive behavioral and attachment theory.
I am an ongoing advanced member of The Couples Institute, which combines attachment and developmental theory with behavioral interventions based on cutting-edge scientific research . In addition, I specialize in treating the continuum of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder.
My focus is on providing a supportive environment where clients can develop the self-awareness and courage to explore and define their authentic selves. With increased clarity about their core needs and aspirations as well as improved communication and problem-solving skills, clients feel empowered and able to design the life that is truly right for them.
