Diana Austin, Licensed professional counselor. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach focuses on identifying the underlying issues that may interfere with daily functioning and a decrease in motivation and happiness. I address the identification of triggers, learning to challenge negative thoughts, and becoming self-aware with the goal of having a stronger sense of balance in life. Other areas include strengthening communication skills, gaining more self-confidence, and feeling more emotionally connected to self and others.
I understand the difficulty in opening up and sharing thoughts and feelings. I provide a relaxed yet professional atmosphere in my sessions. I do incorporate humor at times however I am solution-focused. It is my goal to help guide you in creating a better understanding of how you CAN shift your perspective and succeed in achieving the balance you desire.
