My goal is to meet you where you are at and to support and encourage you to recognize and address barriers which may be holding you back. Therapy is a healing process and my role is to help you identify goals toward a greater sense of well-being.
Using person-centered approaches as a foundation, I integrate many effective modalities to recognize patterns, instill self-awareness and tackle life’s many challenges. I pull ideas and techniques from theories such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Although we cannot go back and change the challenges and pain from the past, we can take steps toward a brighter and happier future. It takes courage to take the first steps toward change and I look forward to working with you!
