My approach is to help "break it down and make it simple". This means helping people untangle their thoughts, pressures and feelings, while collaboratively devising plans aimed at learning to manage and alleviate whatever symptoms are causing distress.
I work with adults who need help managing the challenges of modern life. My primary modalities of practice include Mindfulness Practice, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR - all viewed through a trauma-informed lens and approached in a practical, sensitive, and collaborative manner.
