Welcome to Dialectica Family Therapy we were established by DBT Therapist, Jennifer Miles,LMFT. She began the company in 2018 with the hope to offer inclusive, multicultural, relateable therapy to families, kids and individuals in Ventura County. The practice has grown rapidly and now has three locations in Oxnard, Camarillo and Thousand Oaks. We offer DBT, EMDR, Somatic therapy , play therapy and bilingual services.
In DBT therapy which is a skills based mindful approach that offers clients a spectrum of truths, beliefs and opportunities to change behavior and thoughts to move to Action. Understanding that all people do the best they can in most situations AND can still try harder. Two opposing truths can coexist at the same time.
We are a multicultural group practice with 11 beautiful offices
At this time, we work almost exclusively with Goldcoast/Carelon . A warm, safe haven and A place where people can come and feel heard, seen and cared for deeply. We are heart centered therapists with the primary goal of making positive change.
