Hello. I work with couples who wish to repair and strengthen their relationship. My clients often seek improved ways of managing conflict and want to restore affection and intimacy in their relationship . While presenting concerns among couples seeking therapy are varied, almost all couples desire a love relationship that makes them feel cared for and seen and heard by their partner. I hold this need central to my work with couples and help facilitate change that can be maintained over the long term.
Couples often get stuck in repetitive,harmful patterns of responding to each other. I use emotionally-focused therapy, among other interventions, to help them create new patterns of reaching out and responding that promote closeness. My therapeutic style is warm, respectful and genuine. I use a collaborative approach to help my clients in a personalized way.
I work with couples across the lifespan, especially those who are early in their journey as a couple,contemplating parenthood or are new parents.
