I'm Dr. Devyn Savitsky, PhD, MHC-LP. I believe counseling can and should be a positive, empowering experience for people of all backgrounds. Each individual has a unique story to tell, and my role is to help clients discover coping strategies that support their growth and self-understanding on life's journey. I focus on supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. More specifically, I specialize in disordered eating and negative body image, as well as work with LGBTQIA+ community members.
My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and an awareness of how social, cultural, and systemic influences shape personal experiences. I prioritize creating a safe, accepting environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors at their own pace. Together, we can work toward a stronger sense of identity and personal fulfillment.
My therapeutic lens is rooted in feminist and relational approaches, while also being trauma-informed—meaning I prioritize creating a supportive space where your experiences are understood in context. I believe that with the right support, even small shifts can lead to meaningful growth, and powerful, lasting change at any stage of life.
