Life, though beautiful, is also marked by all sorts of suffering, and my job is to help you heal and grow from that. I am an attachment and trauma-informed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), who works with individuals, families, and couples, to address communication; couple and family conflict; relational and attachment trauma; infidelity; family of origin issues; self-development and identity; PTSD; depression; anxiety; and a host of other problems that arise in life.
I am systemically trained, with an eye to your family and chosen family, your history, and the world at large. I seek to continuously learn and develop skills, and in service of that I am working towards certification in Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience (DARe) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). I also borrow heavily from Internal Family Systems (IFS).
A trusting and secure relationship between therapist and client is imperative for growth, and our bond serves as the foundation for our work together. I strive for warmth and attunement, and I believe it is my job to challenge harmful beliefs and behaviors. I work collaboratively to create a nurturing environment that fosters the difficult change process.
