I specialize in working with couples and individuals who have experienced trauma, often in childhood or adult relationships. Trauma is simply a wound that hasn't healed - often showing up as anxiety, addiction, intrusive thoughts, relationship challenges, and other distress. Many of my clients say they bury their most difficult emotions, often shame, and instead intellectualize or focus on fixing the external situation. My style is warm but direct and non-judgemental balanced with an evidence-based direct approach to bring the changes you want to see in your life.

My approach is strengths and evidence-based mainly using EMDR with individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples, which go beyond talk therapy to bring lasting changes. When working with couples who are continually triggered due to previous trauma, I use an effective combination of EFT and individual EMDR.

All are welcome. I identify as a heterosexual, white, cis-woman and my pronouns are she/her. My clients range in age, sexual orientation, lifestyle, gender expression, ethnicity, and religion.
