As a therapist I try to create a supportive, positive, and non-judgmental environment in which my client can feel free to be open and honest. I work with my clients to help them take control of their own lives and navigate life’s transitions. My clinical interests include but are not limited to, working with children and utilizing play therapy, anxiety, depression, grief, LGBTQ issues and life transitions.
My approach is individualized and tailored to the individual I am working with. I work as a team with my clients, and it is important for them to know they can be honest with me in our work together. I take a person-centered approach in therapy and also use cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients.
