I believe in using warmth and humor to create a safe, comfortable therapeutic space. Together, we will address your mental health symptoms until you feel back in control of your mood, your thoughts, and your life. My expertise includes trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavior management, family conflict, life transitions, and relationship issues through a predominantly Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach. I also have training in and incorporate principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). As a queer non-binary person, I especially enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
I specialize in treating trauma, with extensive training in trauma-focused treatment models, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) to treat youth and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for adults. My trauma-informed framework provides me with a unique perspective on how life experiences impact the body, brain, relationships, and mood.
