I am a people person who enjoys a wide variety of clients – from teens to mature adults. Their commonality is that they are curious, open to new ideas and ways of looking at the world, and seeking opportunities to improve.
I use unconditional positive regard and client focused strengths based therapy to help clients feel safe and heard. I also hope to help clients focus on building resilience and learning how much they have to give to the world and to themselves.
I use creativity to make therapy less intimidating. My own experience living with ADHD, working with clients along the autism spectrum, and using active listening allows me to create a safe space. With me, clients can feel comfortable expressing their emotions – whether in words, drawings or other non-verbal means.
