"Many of the clients that I partner with are individuals who are looking for joy, but may struggle with past issues, hurts and pains. Some of my partners struggle with rejection, race, class and gender issues that are impacting their peace. Others that I work with are looking for their niche in life and need help processing their emotions or just need an extra ear. I have partnered with many who are along their grieving process journey or dealing with a break-up. Some may come from emotionally or physically abusive backgrounds, be it from parents or partners. Together we can build the future you want, need and have imagined!"

That reason being anxiety, relationship issues, existential questions/crisis, depression, drug use, or whatever else that resulted in you looking up someone who could help. I get it; dealing with your own world is one thing, finding the right help is another. I can sit here and type some fancy industry terms about how great and educated I am like a salesperson. But I rather tell you, if it’s any consolation, that you are not alone. "

"After 25 years of experience, I've learned that successful psychotherapy begins with a genuine collaborative relationship and connection with my clients - one formed in an environment of trust and safety, but with enough challenge to promote change. I work from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, actively engaging with you to explore issues including relationship and career difficulties, anxiety, depression, self -esteem, as well as addictive behaviors such as eating disorders. I integrate behavioral strategies (CBT), life coaching techniques, and mindfulness practices as needed. I want my clients to know themselves better, be able to explore new options, and learn the tools needed to change."

"I specialize in a fully collaborative style behavioral health coaching, which emphasizes small sustainable lifestyle shifts. It important to first clarify your values before we begin to set goals which align with those values. Through interviewing and conversation, we will work to identify the issues you wish to work on, elicit your own motivation, and develop skills you need to address them. Focusing on incremental attainable targets is the best way to reach greater goals. 'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD New York), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in New York; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in New York.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.
