Mikaila Henderson,
"I became a certified hypnotherapist after my bout with stage 3 non-hodgkins lymphoma. I was told I'd never be cancer free and am now coming up on 10 years of remission. I practiced hypnosis and other healing modalities to help me through my cancer journey. I believe in what I do and the power we all hold within ourselves to make the necessary changes in creating a healthier, happier, more fulfilling lifestyle. I enjoy working with clients, empowering them to create a new self-confidence and peace in their lives they might otherwise never see possible."

"If you've become lost amongst obstacles on your journey, I'd like to help guide you to more happiness by offering suggestions, uncovering unwanted patterns, and leading you from the past to the present in order to heal and evolve, enhancing your happiness. Through changes in perceptions/attitudes and being willing to see situations with a new pair of glasses, you can reach your goals and evolve. My clients report that they enjoy my down-to-earth attitude and humor and my use of Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, TRM, meditation and yoga to treat mind-body symptoms. I work best with clients who are motivated to gain self-awareness and see patterns that are no longer serving them. I give homework between sessions in order to keep the continuity of healing working consistently. I feel very blessed to be working in a field that serves people who are finding their best selves and evolving into the people they want to be. "

"Authentic communication and connection nourishes our essence. Being in tune with our deeper self helps us stay centered, feeling sure and confident of who we are. At times our head may spin from anxiety-provoking events or situations. We can learn to cope and self-regulate by getting in touch with our self in different ways. Nourishing our essence gives us a solid sense of self-worth, helping us feel safe and secure in the universe allowing us to take ownership of our journey through life, whether dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, or relationships we can learn to live in the solution."

"When we struggle, we may start to blame ourselves, ask "what's wrong with me," or begin to lose hope for things to get better. Connection and understanding are some of the most essential building blocks of the human experience and I believe that creating a safe place within therapy to look more deeply at these parts of ourselves can uncover the real causes of the difficulty we experience (hint: it's probably not that you're bad at everything). If you're struggling with overcoming past trauma/s, relationships and dating, family issues, burnout, stress from chronic illness, anxiety or depression, I believe I can help."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 90041), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 90041; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 90041.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 90041 or 90041 developmental issues. Try an 90041 child therapist, 90041 facility or 90041 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 90041, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 90041, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 90041, teenagers development problems in 90041, 90041 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 90041 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 90041 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 90041 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 90041 or family therapy in 90041.
