"Sometimes in life, we are confronted by hurdles that seem difficult to overcome on our own. Let's do this together at a safe pace. I aim to build a strong bond between clients and myself. This sets the precedence for the rest of the treatment process. I utilize elements from different approaches to develop the best treatment plan suited for my clients, by exploring personal backgrounds and incorporating life experiences as a way to examine and resolve issues that hinder a healthy lifestyle. "The use of alcohol and drugs, domestic violence, suicide, chronic grief and loss, internalized oppression, emotional, spiritual, and mental wounds are ALL symptoms not causes of imbalance. In order to heal, a community needs to deal with the causes of historical and generational, unresolved trauma and move toward balance. We acknowledge our inter-connectedness to all that has been created in this life and the unseen world. Healing will take place through the use of cultural and spiritual knowledge including creation stories, ancestral teachings, journeying into balance and wellness, as it takes everyone to heal the community. "Life is a journey, and in seeking therapy you are taking a step to shape that journey. Choosing a therapist can be difficult, complicated by therapy jargon. To put it simply, we will examine your past, evaluate your present and collaborate on your future. Therapy is not without risk. However, I will provide a safe environment and a non-judgemental ear for you to explore your life and its infinite possibilities. You will determine where you want to go and I will work with you to help you get there. I look forward to hearing from you."

"My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for you to freely express your thoughts and feelings about life's complexities. Together we will work on making changes to benefit your life. I believe everyone is capable of change, but does not know how or want to put in the work. I want to motivate you to succeed at creating the life that you want. I often tell people that looking for a therapist is like finding the right pair of shoes, sometimes you get lucky on that first try and other times you need to keep looking. Please don't hesitate to call me. "

"We all experience sadness, anxiety, anger, and other negative emotions, but at a certain point, these emotions become more of a burden than we can bear, and can affect our normal functioning; our relationships, jobs, schoolwork, and personal lives as a whole can suffer. Starting therapy is a courageous step toward feeling better; making the choice to become vulnerable in front of another person in order to receive help may be one of the hardest things you ever do. Right now, by looking for a therapist, you're showing the insight that you're worth more. "

"Compassionate, Holistic Counseling for Young Children, Adolescents, Parents, & Families. As a parent, you care deeply and work hard so that your child can become the best she or she can be. At times, overwhelming worry might weigh on you. You might question, "What else can I possibly do to support my child?" You can see your child's struggles: meltdowns, anxiety/fearfulness, withdrawn behavior, uncooperativeness, developmental delays, aggression, lack of friends, difficulty learning, hyperactivity, fragile self-esteem. You might feel confused about the behaviors and wonder whether these struggles will continue and impede your child's future success in life."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 90040), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 90040; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 90040.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 90040 or 90040 developmental issues. Try an 90040 child therapist, 90040 facility or 90040 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 90040, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 90040, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 90040, teenagers development problems in 90040, 90040 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 90040 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 90040 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 90040 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 90040 or family therapy in 90040.
