"No matter how far you are on your journey, it's likely that there will always be something that's not perfect, or the way you want it to be. When we are hurting (and not present), it's difficult to enjoy life, make decisions, or work through transitions, traumas, painful memories, or experiences. My name is Isabelle, and I will support you in practicing mindfulness and taking control, rather than "sinking" into painful life situations or memories. Emotional injuries may lead to difficulties with relationships, self worth, goals, and living to your fullest potential."

"Are you feeling stuck, confused, or in pain? Life can be difficult and confusing; it can be helpful to have someone to guide you in utilizing your strengths and gaining skills to navigate life more effectively. I offer clients a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to work together on getting you "unstuck." I work well with clients who have issues with anxiety or have experienced traumatic events. I have a lot of experience and passion for working with clients who identify as LGBTQ and/or are in the arts. I work primarily from an empathetic, relational approach and can incorporate EMDR and DBT into our work as well."

"I'm happy you're here. It takes courage to seek out a perspective that can transform and empower you. When we allow ourselves the time to connect with our bodies, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, we can heal and release what no longer serves; while at the same time strengthening what is true. Everything you are feeling serves a purpose. It is useful information. Symptoms such as: anxiety, depression, addiction, or relationship challenges are all trying to tell you something. You need some attention and we can all benefit from positive, focused attention where we need it."

"Who knows what exactly makes a certain therapist right for a specific client? I think I'm most successful when I: listen to the client's needs and see discrepancies in what clients want and how they're going about getting it. Often we can understand and resolve conflicts in career and in relationships, and discover the old ways you adopted when you were a kid that don't work so well now. Let me know if you need help balancing day-to-day day challenges with big 'what-am-I-doing-with-my-life' questions."

"Being a human being is complicated. As humans, we require a witness to our life experience and emotions. It is my honor to be that witness for each of my clients. For an adolescence, it can provide a rare space where they can work through feeling, conflicts and develop more adaptive ways of being. Our lives are full of change, and it can be the source of stress. For adults too who are stuck or are struggling with feelings, life, and trauma a safe place offers comfort. Therapy can provide a space for curiosity, discovery, and creation. A place where meaning and authenticity can be found."

"Life hands us difficult challenges. Ironically, it is often those challenges that turn into our biggest blessings. But we must be willing to search. We often forget that one of our most beautiful gifts is the freedom to pursue happiness. There is nothing stopping us from that pursuit. The key word is "pursue." We must take action to discover happiness. Once you find it, happiness becomes part of your DNA. Happy people laugh, fall, get up, and laugh again. They can't wait for the next joke."

"Would you like to let go of concerns about your weight and body image? Is emotional eating one of your primary coping mechanisms? Many women, across the life span, struggle with issues around food, their bodies, and self confidence. I work holistically with women, as I believe that all aspects of our lives, from sleep and nutrition to relationships or past trauma, are integrally related. We will work together to develop the insight, skills, and tools you'll need to achieve your goals. "
