"At CENTERED we focus on helping you regain balance and stability. Life can knock us off balance and we can begin to feel too anxious, too depressed, drink too much, sleep too much (or not enough), for example. If you've tried dealing with things on your own and you're still suffering, it may be time to come in and work with a professional. Give me a call and we can talk a little bit about what's going on and then I can recommend a course of action."

"I hav over eighteen years experience working with children, families, individuals, and adults, as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Through a warm, accepting approach, I can elicit self acceptance in others. My therapy style is warm, thoughtful, and respectful. I bring mindfulness based techniques, and expressive arts into my work with my clients, and I also utilize a strengths-based approach. We all have the strength and knowledge inside of us, we just sometimes need a little help finding it, and we all need someone with whom we can express ourselves fully. In discussing our challenges, we can transform our thoughts, and our lives."

I strive to assist people to build on their strengths and resources to achieve change in their lives. I believe healing is holistic, and I incorporate both mind and body. I use EMDR and talk therapy to identify negative core beliefs that keep people stuck. I also incorporate mindfulness and grounding techniques when needed, as I believe that creating safety in the body is also essential."

"I believe therapy can benefit everyone who sincerely wishes to see a change in his or her life. Appropriate therapy can relieve feelings of distress, increase satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, create skills for managing anxiety, and help grow greater personal awareness and insight. "Life, without a doubt, can be burdensome with its obligations and expectations often leaving us feeling stuck, unheard and alone. Between managing the demands of daily stressors it can feel like we're drowning and we forget to take care of ourselves. Yet, the gift of therapy gives us permission to let go in a safe space and return the love and energy we give outwardly to ourselves. Using strength-based techniques, I work collaboratively with individuals, couples and families seeking lasting relief from the strife's of “adulting”, anxiety, depression and complex trauma. "

"I believe that psychotherapy can be a way to gain a better understanding of oneself and provide an individual with insight into their own life. Having awareness surrounding one's thoughts and feelings can lead to a more fulfilling and mindful existence. I believe that the therapeutic relationship formed with my clients can be in and of itself a healing experience and really a branching off point towards the road of self-discovery. The therapy room is truly a safe space to explore who you are and who you want to become."

"As a parent/caregiver, a certain level of stress is normal, however when your stress level becomes unmanageable, it is time to seek professional support. I help infants and their parents; individuals and their families repair the effects of trauma and stress in their lives. I believe the earlier we address emotional, developmental, relational, social and individual (behavior) functioning, the better we can assist the family or individual to make life-long changes."

"You treat yourself in ways you would never treat another person. Relationships suffer when you are beating yourself up inside. I believe that the harsh treatment of self is behind many painful emotions, and leads to destructive and self-defeating behavior. We will untangle this together, and I will help set you on a path to working for, instead of against, yourself to meet your goals. I also work with couples in therapy, helping people to revive their connection and work through their differences. "When you accept yourself, your whole life changes." - Ann Weiser Cornell"

"I want you to dare to be you. I desire for you to move through feelings of "stuck-ness" and be confident in your ability to step into a healthy space of thriving. I believe perfectionism, busyness, broken relationships, depression and anxiety can stifle our souls and keep us from being who we are meant to be. If not explored, they can keep us from the meaningful relationships with ourselves and others that we long for. I bring a positive approach to therapy that creates an authentic and ideal environment for moving through a difficult past, finding strength in current life transitions and feeling inspired for future change. "I am here for you. As we walk through life, we often carry a load of complex feelings and unresolved baggage on our shoulders. Sometimes, the weight of it all can be unbearable. This makes life harder than it has to be, especially when we are already trying to do our best with what we find in ourselves. As a therapist, I believe that a relationship with an attentive, caring, and nonjudgmental person can provide security and strength to explore our inner processes that sometimes seem stuck and unclear. Therapy will be a safe place to practice shedding light on the parts that you'd like more understanding, healing, growth, and change."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 90007), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 90007; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 90007.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 90007 or 90007 developmental issues. Try an 90007 child therapist, 90007 facility or 90007 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 90007, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 90007, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 90007, teenagers development problems in 90007, 90007 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 90007 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 90007 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 90007 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 90007 or family therapy in 90007.
