"This right now, finding a therapist, is probably not fun, in fact, it may be a very uncomfortable experience. Hopefully right now is the most difficult part on this path. If you are already browsing therapists then it would seem you're at least contemplating some kind of transformation. Change does not have to be scary, it can also be relieving, rewarding, and a source of achievement. I believe personal growth is for everyone, no matter where you are in your life. Whether you identified a problem, struggle in a relationship, or just want to experience therapy, I'm here."

"I became a psychologist because I am interested in people's stories. What has happened? What is it that makes you so sad, so anxious, so stressed? I believe that working together we can make sense of your story and your pain, and find ways to alleviate it. I have been in practice in Pasadena for 27 years. I work with adults, adolescents and children."

"Are you sad, anxious or do you feel alone? Perhaps you realize that emotional pain doesn’t just “go away”. It stings and lingers as you attempt to reconcile that some of your relationships were toxic. You may have concluded that you have an overall pattern of interpersonal conduct that yields poor results at home, school or work. You find yourself in poor relationships, feeling isolated and can’t seem to stop the cycle. Although you are working hard, you are plagued with self doubt and crippled by fears. You may avoid to feel safe. You want to improve your outcomes but you end up with resentments as you attempt to relate to others."

""The purpose of therapy is to remove blocks to truth; to help you abandon any patterns of belief that no longer serve you in a productive way; to implement self-forgiveness. Therapy can alleviate suffering and open the door to peace of mind. It can assist in separating illusion from reality and even reality from truth. Finally, it can help you to learn to make your decisions from internal prompts because you have created an internal locus of control." From "A Course in Miracles" Most clients start noticing change in their perspectives, outlook and coping skills early in the process."

"Are you struggling with substances but feel “rehab” isn’t right for you? You don’t need to leave your job or family for a month to find the help you need. Addiction is tough: that compulsion to go back and do the same thing over and over, even though you know it's destroying your life... You feel fear, anxiety, failure, worthlessness, humiliation, contempt... You've tried to break the 'habit', get your control back, but just when you start feeling some success you stumble, and you're back in the same hole again. Breaking your substance abuse alone is not as simple as it sounds. Counseling may be more effective for you than rehab."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 90003), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 90003; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 90003.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 90003 or 90003 developmental issues. Try an 90003 child therapist, 90003 facility or 90003 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 90003, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 90003, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 90003, teenagers development problems in 90003, 90003 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 90003 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 90003 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 90003 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 90003 or family therapy in 90003.
