"Through my 20+ years of experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of settings, I have realized that a one-size-fits all model of treatment is not the most effective method of providing support and assisting with change. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the latest research on human and brain development, trauma and attachment, as well as the power of unspoken words and actions. I specialize in working with adult women, those with relational trauma, toddlers, pre-k and elementary aged children with behavior problems and their parents who struggle with divorce, co-parenting and parenting skills."

"I work with clients in a relaxed, informal, and professional way to promote emotional safety and comfort within the relationship so that they can process openly and authentically about meaningful and often sensitive topics. While experiencing this connection, people are able to gain presence, reflect on experiences and plan for personal maintenance, change and growth. Many clients enjoy both spending time in the office, taking walks, spending time in nature, and/or meeting virtually for telehealth sessions. I like to utilize physical activity, mindfulness, and ecotherapy for engagement and emphasizing overall health and wellness."

"People often first seek counseling from a sense of pain, emotional turmoil, or doubts about self. They are in a crisis, experiencing some problems, or have experienced some kind of set backs that cause them to reach out for help, initially. In my 40+ years of practice, I have put a high priority on offering a safe, compassionate, and confidential relationship that will set you at ease. This allows you to find the courage to speak frankly about your deepest concerns and examine any and all alternatives for how to resolve your personal concerns. We will form an alliance to work together to bring you to a better place in your life."

Maybe they are acting different or distancing them self, struggling at school, stressed by peer relationships, seem more irritable and angry, have low motivation. 'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 28801), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 28801; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 28801.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 28801 or 28801 developmental issues. Try a 28801 child therapist, 28801 facility or 28801 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 28801, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 28801, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 28801, teenagers development problems in 28801, 28801 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 28801 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 28801 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 28801 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 28801 or family therapy in 28801.
