It could be as simple as changing clothes, to more complex ones like a break up, death, or coming out. My goal is to help you manage and deal with changes in your life. By providing you with a safe and comfortable environment and my use of various therapeutic techniques, my hope is that you will feel supported, heard, understood, and obtain the necessary coping skills to help you through this journey called life."

"It's hard to change behaviors & ways of thinking that have outlived their usefulness, but it can be done. In my work I help people 1. understand how the problem became part of their life & how it stays embedded 2. work through the uncomfortable feelings that emerge when one lets go of what's familiar and moves into the unknown 3. build on what already works to develop more flexible, satisfying ways of interacting & being in the world. I work collaboratively and take an affirmative approach, recognizing your creativity and building on your strengths."

"Psychotherapy is, most honestly, a very remarkable and often surprising kind of 'conversation.' The distinction being that when we have a 'conversation,' we only know where it will begin, but not where it will end. The 'getting there,' the movement toward 'the end,' is often a thought-provoking, pleasurable, funny, sad, profound experience that changes people in wholly positive ways. When therapist and patient develop a good working relationship, transformative things can happen. My work centers around creating a serious, useful, and private space to begin exploring the depths of what causes you to suffer, or feel misunderstood."

"People seek therapy for a variety of reasons: anxiety, depression, relationship complications, sexuality issues, to name just a specific few; or it may be a combination of issues, or even for reasons one cannot immediately put a finger on -- a general sense of "just not feeling right." Regardless the reasons, you likely found this site in a search for relief and/or a better understanding of where you find yourself at this particular moment in your own story. So now comes the (sometimes) daunting task of finding someone who might offer help."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 10120), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 10120; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 10120.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 10120 or 10120 developmental issues. Try a 10120 child therapist, 10120 facility or 10120 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 10120, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 10120, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 10120, teenagers development problems in 10120, 10120 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 10120 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 10120 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 10120 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 10120 or family therapy in 10120.
