"I address problems with a focus on results, not intentions. Resolve that if what you're doing isn't working, you'll be willing to change it. Do you want to live purposefully, or will you continue complaining about what you don't have? While I work with past issues, I'll help you live in the now in a purposeful and rewarding present onto a satisfying future. Resolve that you'll no longer allow your choices to cause you pain and fear rather than peace and joy. If you can say "I'm sick of this. I am ready" then give me a call."

"Have you done all the “right” things, but feel stressed? Are you looking for more balance in your life? Do you want to figure out what’s holding you back, so that you can move forward? Do you find that you’re often the “good friend” to others, but maybe not to yourself? Do you need a non-judgmental space where you can reflect on what's going on and find realistic solutions that work for you? Are you open to trying new ideas to help you build the life you want to lead? If many of these experiences resonate with you, I think we'll work well together. "

"I work with people who have difficulty in relationships, identifying, connecting to and verbalizing feelings, and those with low self-esteem. I aim to help people increase their awareness as to who they are, why they do the things they do, and who they would like to become. I work in a relational way and I appreciate the importance of emotional safety. I weave in the felt sense and body sensation, a mindfulness practice, into our experience. A sense of openness, connectedness and transparency in the relationship is an essential part of the work and helps build trust."

"Therapy is all about helping clients in a way that makes sense for them - it's a mutually agreed upon experience that can be interactive and playful. Going to therapy doesn't mean something is "wrong," and doesn't even have to be about making changes or setting goals. It can be as simple and positive as sitting with a stranger, being heard and gaining insight. My style is eclectic and tailored to my clients' particular needs. I draw on a multitude of influences, primarily psychodynamic, interpersonal and relational."

"Hello and welcome to my page! I believe that all individuals are capable of healing and growth with the help of an understanding, compassionate, and supportive therapist. Therapy is a vulnerable process and I strive to provide an environment where my client feels safe. I also believe that insight alone is not enough for change to occur and therefore I bring experiential work into the room, often engaging the body and somatic experience in our work. My approach to therapy integrates Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 10039), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 10039; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 10039.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 10039 or 10039 developmental issues. Try a 10039 child therapist, 10039 facility or 10039 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 10039, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 10039, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 10039, teenagers development problems in 10039, 10039 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 10039 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 10039 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 10039 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 10039 or family therapy in 10039.
