"I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relationship conflicts. I help my clients identify troubling thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns with the goal of shifting to healthier and more adaptive perspective and decision making. I work with an eclectic, integrative approach and base my practice techniques on the unique needs of the individual, as psychotherapy is not based upon a "one size fits all" approach. I pay close attention to the relationships within a client's life, and incorporate techniques from both cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy. I provide tools on how to effectively alter maladaptive thoughts and behaviors, while also taking into consideration the individual's history and past experiences. "

"Are you ready to start therapy? Good psychotherapy works through attention to the collaborative dialog between client and doctor. In our conversations, we will explore how past and present conflicts, patterns of behavior, and characteristic strengths and weaknesses may influence your life choices. Transformative therapeutic work can be short-term or long-term, and include weekly or more frequent meetings. It can be hard work to address anxiety, depression, dissatisfaction and indecision. However, with consistent psychotherapeutic support, it is possible to change, to heal old wounds, renew your self confidence, and improve your capacity to manage feelings and fears."

Developmental Disorders Therapists
'Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD 10035), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in 10035; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in 10035.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in 10035 or 10035 developmental issues. Try a 10035 child therapist, 10035 facility or 10035 treatment program. These therapists provide help with kids' developmental issues in 10035, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental therapists in 10035, developmental psychologists, developmental counseling and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in 10035, teenagers development problems in 10035, 10035 teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 10035 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 10035 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 10035 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 10035 or family therapy in 10035.
